Agenda:

  1. Using Python to scrape the web: Jan Gerber ( 0x2620.org ) will present python-ox (the web in a dict), a python library he has been working on to create structured data out of web content, followed by a general discussion around web scraping - tools, best practices, and other approaches / examples people may have. - Around 45 minutes.
  2. Django - some approaches to building complex web applications: Jan will present python-oxdjango ( http://code.0x2620.org/python-oxdjango/) and make a short presentation of pan.do/ra ( http://pan.do/ra ), leading to an open discussion around different approaches people have used to solve common problems when developing for the web. - Around 45 minutes.

Irina presents ideas from an upcoming co-authored book on cyberfeminism, Night Sweats: Cyberfeminist Practices, out this year.

Guna will speak about a recent exhibition series across South East Asia, the first of which is named Menggodam.
